Try to find ways to connect with others using technology. This is the best way to prevent the spread of Covid-19.03-27-202003-26-202003-25-2020Prevent the Spread!03-24-202003-23-2020What Does "Flatten the Curve" Mean?We are staying home from school and keeping our distance from each other to prevent spreading the coronavirus. This virus is causing illness in many people. Staying home works with other measures to prevent spreading germs such as:* Wash your hands
* Cover coughs and sneezes with your elbow* Avoid touching your face* Clean frequently-touched surfaces.Because the coronavirus is so easily spread, staying home will keep you and your family from being exposed in the community. If people all get sick at the same time, our doctors, nurses, emergency responders and hospitals would not be able to keep up. Flattening the curse means preventing a rapid spike in cases like the pink curve in the picture below. Instead, we want to slow the virus from spreading. By protecting ourselves, we give scientists more time to work on a cure, develop a vaccine and to not overwhelm our health care system. We all need to work as a team to keep ourselves and our loved ones safe.03-20-2020
