Welcome to the NHTS Basic Skills page for K-2 Students!
Hi! I am Mrs. Ward, the K-2 Basic Skills teacher. In K, 1, and 2, we are working on counting and writing numbers, representing data, writing letters and making letter sounds. We are doing some computer work in grade 2 on Splashlearn, Xtramath, and Dreambox. We play lots of games like Memory, Go Fish, and Gobble Gobble.Here you will find developmental milestones from birth to age 6.
