Dear New Hanover Township School Families:
This morning, the New Hanover Township School community began remote learning. While we recognize that this method of delivering instruction is neither traditional nor ideal, I want us to embrace our role in being socially responsible and a part of the solution in slowing the spread COVID-19.
Since March 5th, our staff has prepared for today by creating lessons, communicating with families, and sending materials home with students. The next few weeks will present evolving challenges, but no school community is better equipped to conquer these obstacles than we are. Together, as always, we will work to meet the needs of our students. If you have any questions during this time, please do not hesitate to contact me at any of the following:
Email: slarkin@newhanover.k12.nj.us

Cell Phone: 732 856 0118
Thank you all for your understanding during this difficult time.
Sincerely,
Dr. Scott Larkin, Principal

Please know that follow-up information will continue to be sent by Dr. Larkin via email, list serve and posted on the district and teacher webpages.
As of this writing, the closing of the building for students will occur through April 19, 2020 as recommended by the Burlington County Department of Health. The school district will continue to evaluate the length of the closure and follow guidelines provided by our public health officials. During this time, students who are eligible for free or reduced lunch will receive daily meal deliveries.
As of 8 PM today, March 13, all afterschool, evening, and weekend activities will be cancelled/rescheduled to a later date. All facility use events will also be cancelled. In addition, all clubs, theater/athletic practices, games and competitions will be cancelled until further notice.
Please be aware that this continuously changing health situation may require further adjustments. If public health officials provide additional guidance that changes their current recommendation, the district will provide further notice to the community.
We thank you for your ongoing flexibility and patience throughout this health situation as we all strive to prioritize the health and safety of our students and staff members. Thank you to our faculty and staff members for their continued professionalism and efforts throughout this ongoing challenge.
